What is your warranty/return policy?

• Important: Buyer MUST call or E-MAIL us before returning or servicing any items.
• We guarantee that all items will work upon arrival
• In the event that an item is damaged in transit, an insurance claim will be filed with the shipping carrier and the cost of the item will be returned. Contact us immediately if such a case occurs.
• If machine needs service or part replacement, send it back to us within 6 months (machine head only) and we will service the machine for FREE. We will pay to ship the machine back to you after servicing.
• New motors are guaranteed for 1 year, we will pay shipping both ways.

How do you calculate your shipping rates?

• Our shipping rate is calculated based on the actual cost of UPS Ground service or our alternate ground cargo service
• Surcharges are added to oversized machines (cylinder machines, post machines, units with large motors)
• Surcharges may be added for shipping to rural Canadian areas - contact us for information
• Disassembly, packaging, and preparation services are provided by RaphaelSewing for FREE.

What condition is this industrial sewing machine in?

• We sell new and reconditioned industrial sewing machines. Product page will state whether machine is new or reconditioned.
• Our new machines are right out of the box, adjusted and tested by a certified technician and ready to sew upon delivery
• Our reconditioned machines are tuned, adjusted and repaired to assure that the machine performs the way it is supposed to. We only sell machines that work perfectly, and we test and inspect every machine we sell.

What is the difference between this machine and the "Industrial Strength" sewing machines that I see on eBay?

• Smaller sewing machines listed as "Industrial Strength" on eBay are common household machines with attached domestic motors that are great for sewing light materials and general fabric repairs
• Trying to sew multiple layers of leather, canvas or vinyl with a household machines equipped with plastic parts and body will result in a number of problems and the quick breakdown of the machine - the internal gears and attached motor are not nearly powerful enough for years of heavy sewing projects
• In order to work on bigger projects such as upholstery, clothing manufacturing and general multi-layer repairs/creations using thick materials, you will require a Heavy-Duty Industrial Sewing Machine, with a 1725 or 3450 RPM industrial sewing machine motor.
